Boys to Men
This semester long
program offers tutoring, mentoring, and life skills training
to school-aged boys. It provides an opportunity for young boys to experience
the honest, stable relationships needed to grow into the strong, productive,
creative leaders they were meant to be.
program partners with local area high schools to assist young men of
color through mentoring, connecting them with various support networks.
The program also provides them with the life skills they will need to
find stable employment, learn a trade, or go to college to improve their
quality of life as future young adults.
This program is
essential to adults who are underemployed new, unemployed seeking employment,
or need the financial management skills needed to potentially purchase
Our Fathers Men's Health Awareness Festival
This annual event
engages members of the medical community and the public to bring awareness
to the health disparity among African-American Men who are disproportionately
affected by prostate and colon cancer. This free event is open to the
public and is filled with fun, food and educational sessions geared
towards empowering men to take their own health and well-being more
